Our Story
Road Crosser began as a weekend project in 2022 when three university friends – Emily Chen, Marcus Taylor, and Raj Patel – wanted to create a mobile game that was both challenging and accessible. Frustrated by the rising trend of gambling mechanics in casual games, they decided to build something that relied purely on skill, timing, and strategy.
Their prototype featured a simple fox character that players could tap to move across a busy road, avoiding obstacles and collecting coins. The core mechanic was addictive – one tap at a time, players would navigate increasingly difficult environments to win levels and unlock new characters.
By early 2023, what started as a passion project had evolved into a full-fledged startup. The team secured initial funding from Birmingham Tech Incubator and expanded to 15 talented developers, artists, and designers. They refined the core mechanics, added dozens of characters, hundreds of levels, and implemented a rewards system that kept players coming back without relying on chance or gambling elements.
Road Crosser was officially launched in January 2025 and quickly gained popularity for its charming art style, addictive gameplay, and fair progression system. Within six months, the game had been downloaded over 5 million times globally, with players spending an average of 45 minutes per day trying to beat levels and unlock special bonus content.
Today, our team continues to grow and evolve, but our commitment remains the same – to create fair, fun, and engaging mobile games that anyone can play and enjoy.
